Fire Safety Training

Fire Safety Experts

In the event of a fire, the actions of employees are not only crucial to their own safety but also to others around them. All employees should receive basic fire safety induction training and attend refresher sessions at pre-determined intervals (usually annually).

Fire safety training should take account of the findings of the fire risk assessment and be easily understood by all those attending. It should include the role that employees will be expected to carry out if a fire occurs.

Our bespoke fire training courses ensure that employees, volunteers and contractors are given site-specific training. This includes familiarisation of identified risks along with relevant evacuation policies and procedures.

Whatever training you decide is necessary to support your fire safety strategy and evacuation plan, it should be verifiable. Visiting enforcing authorities will want to examine records as evidence that adequate training has been provided.
