Our consultants and assessors are all ex Fire Authority Fire Safety Inspecting Officers who have spent extended periods of time in fire safety, enforcing the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RR (FS)O 2005).
For most people fire is theoretical, but for our team it’s been a reality. Whilst we appreciate you don’t have to be an ex-fire officer to be a good fire safety consultant, we do believe that having first-hand experience of fire, the reality and devastation it can cause, means that our team has a deeper level of respect for what they do and the decisions they make on behalf of clients.
Among an extensive list of qualifications most of our assessors hold Member status of the Institute of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) by examination, and all hold Graduate status (GIFireE) as a minimum. The team are regularly invited to present at industry events and conferences to share their knowledge and insights.
The team is diligent, dedicated and passionate about what they do. Each team member has a particular area of interest and expertise, whether that be fire engineering, fire safety legislation and guidance documents (for example, Home Office guides, known as DCLG guides), fire alarms cause and effect, fire safety training or fire investigation.
The backbone of our business is the head office team, who keep our projects on track, our clients informed and the team united!
